Flood alerts are still in place across some areas of the River Thames, as heavy rain thunder and hail are predicted to arrive later today.
The Met Office has said occasional heavy showers with the possibility of thunder and hail could be expected in Croydon, Wimbledon, Wandsworth, Sutton, Kingston, Richmond, Epsom and Elmbridge later this afternoon.
The rain is expected to clear up by this evening, although temperatures could drop to zero celsius.
River levels remain high on the Thames, with a flood alert still in place between Shepperton and Molesey.
Flooding of some roads and low lying land could be expected in those areas, but property flooding is not anticipated.
The rain will return by noon tomorrow (Sunday) along with strong to gale force winds in the early afternoon.
