These were the shocking scenes after yet another collision at a notorious cross road.
An elderly lady is said to have been shaken but uninjured as a result of the collision on Saturday, May 10 - the latest in a string of incidents at the junction with St Helier Avenue and Middleton Road in Morden.
Two cars were left with substantial damage after the collision on the south bound carriageway, and police were called to the scene at 4.05pm.
The photographs show a pale coloured three door Ford Focus with damage to the front, and a grey three door car with extensive damage to the front bumper.
Last night the grey car was still on the side of the road and broken glass littered the road by the traffic lights.
The roads were closed until 6.30pm while officers dealt with the incident and London Ambulance Service were called although they did not treat anybody.
Another collision in January this year saw a woman cut from her car by the fire brigade.
