A new company that uses state-of-the-art technology to make sure elderly people are safe has launched in Sutton.
Caremark, based at the SCILL Centre in Robin Hood Lane, Sutton, is a home care service that allows carers to look after clients using a special phone app that stores data about the elderly person and logs how much time the worker has spent with them.
Caremark will work alongside other projects at the SCILL centre to make sure elderly people in the borough are looked after.
Former mayor Councillor Sean Brennan was at the launch of the service last month.
He said: "I am so proud of how the people of Sutton and the organisations they represent are so comfortable and competent at collaborating.
"The excellent service offered by Caremark is a perfect example of how that collaboration comes together for the common good."
