Sutton police are hunting for a man who burgled a couple’s house as they slept.
A man woke up to find the intruder taking his mobile phone from his bedside table.
After checking every room in the house to make sure the burglar had left, the victim gave chase down the street but eventually lost sight of him.
The incident took place at roughly 4am in Trafalgar Avenue, Worcester Park on Friday, June 20.
As well as the phone, the intruder made off with a charm bracelet which was later found discarded in the street.
A CCTV still was released today of a man being sought in connection with the incident.
The couple are in their 30's.
Police are linking the case to an attempted burglary in Dibdin Close, Sutton, which took place at 3am the same morning.
