A 22-year-old expectant mum from Wallington died after being knocked down by a car - allegedly driven by her partner - in St Helier on Saturday.
Jessica Fenner was involved in a collision with a car near the junction of Glastonbury Road, Love Lane and Forest Road, at 9pm on July 5.
The incident happened on the border of St Helier and Morden
She was taken to hospital in a critical condition but died from her injuries yesterday.
Daniel Dutfield, 24, of Trinity Crescent in Tooting - who is believed to be Miss Fenner's partner - has been charged with causing death by dangerous driving.
He is in police custody and is due to appear by video-link at an as-yet-unspecified court today.
