Crowds flocked to soak up the sunshine and bask in a field of lavender at the weekend.
Mayfield Lavender, a 25-acre farm in Banstead, held its annual two-day festival on July 12 and 13, with activities including bug hunts, face-painting, tractor rides, tours of the fields, massages, wreath-making classes, photography classes, Morris dancing and a hog roast.
The family-run farm grows lavender organically, with no chemical fertilisers, pesticides or herbicides.
