Latin band celebrate musical legend of Santana
Grab your salsa shoes and join a Latin rock band in celebrating the musical legend of Carlos Santana this month.
VivaSantana have toured with their congas, timbales and bass everywhere from Cuba to London recreating the magic of Carlos Santana.
Santana is a Mexican and American rock guitarist who became famous in the1960s and 1970s with his band which pioneered rock, Latin music and jazz fusion.
Tribute band, VivaSantana, are now heading for the Boom Boom Club in Sutton promising to recreate Santana’s soulful melodies in the native languages of the Americas.
The band will roll their way through highlights from Santana’s 30 year career featuring Spanish guitarist Marcos Rodriguez and two percussionists.
They will play two full hour sets complete with a special Santana back drop.
