Lisa Stansfield looking forward to Hampton Court Palace Festival performance

Performing her only London date on day two of the Hampton Court Palace Festival is multi-Brit Award winner Lisa Stansfield.

The All Around the World singer says: “I’m really looking forward to it. It will be good fun.”

Stansfield joins the eclectic 12-day line up this summer as she performs at the Hampton Court Palace Festival, which runs from June 13 to 24.

The festival features artists from the world of rock, pop, jazz and classical music, including Cliff Richard, Jools Holland and Imelda May.

Stansfield reveals what audiences can expect from her show.

She says: “It’s just an honest show really with really good musicians. We’ve got a really tight band and it’s lovely because you really get a feel for the band.”

Stansfield, who has sold more than 20m records throughout her career, performs with her nine member band, which includes her husband.

She says: “There are two members of the band and my husband who have been there since the beginning. The band are really great and we try to make it as much fun and about the music as possible.”

The songstress, who has never performed at Hampton Court Palace before, will treat the audience to her greatest hits including So Natural and All Woman.

She says: “After having such a great time last year in the UK with my three sold out shows, I’m so excited to be touring once again and I cannot wait to perform at Hampton Court Palace this June.”
