Selection of films to be screened at Tooting Lido
A selection of films are being screened next weekend to celebrate the end of summer.
All of the films are based on the theme of coming of age and will be shown in Tooting Bec Lido, Tooting Bec Road from September 21-23.
Film buffs have the chance to see The Goonies and Grease on Friday, with Back to The Future and Jaws being shown on Saturday.
There will also be screenings of Stand By Me and Dirty Dancing on Sunday evening, with the option to watch a double bill of both films too.
Doors open to the public 30 minutes before each viewing, while it is recommended to bring a blanket and waterproofs.
Viewers are also invited to attend in fancy dress to get into the spirit of things.
Refreshments are on offer such as hot dogs and hot cider, incase the forecast is colder than expected.
The event has been organised by Tooting Arts Club, who ran a pop-up cinema in Tooting High Street last Christmas and staged play Barbarians last Spring.
Tickets cost £8 for adults and £5 for children.
