Fine art exhibition at Sutton Central Library

Sutton Central Library is hosting an exhibition of contemporary fine art prints.

The Paul Mitchell exhibition at the Europa Gallery is being supported by Sutton Art Council and will be on show from Wednesday 17 to Sunday 28 of October.

The collection of 50 exhibits includes work by Albert Irwin, John Hoyland and Marcelle Hanselaar.

Mr Mitchell said: "There are not many opportunities for people in Sutton to view good quality prints without a trip to the major institutions and galleries in central London. 

"I am really keen on print making and want to share my love of fine art, which is the reason why I am very happy to let the public see my modest collection, with the hope that it will boost local interest." 

The exhibition will be open during normal library hours.
