A Cornish comedian is coming to town this weekend in a show which is strictly for adults only, writes Andy Bloss.

Jethro, heralded as Cornwall’s ambassador of comedy, is returning to Fairfield Halls once again for what is hoped to be an evening full of comedy and naughty entertainment.

The Cornish comedian will entertain audiences with a host of classic stories from his life alongside plenty of new material.

Jethro’s latest show will feature some more tales about his mate Denzil and his numerous other friends in his storytelling show.

The comic has made nine appearances on the Des O’Connor Tonight Programme, and appeared on Jim Davidson’s Generation Game five times.

Jethro also appeared in the Royal Variety Show in front of the Queen in December 2001.

A spokesman for the comedian says: "Jethro’s show is packed with witty observations and thigh-slapping gags, and you won’t find a funnier night of adult humour anywhere in the UK.

"Be sure to hold onto your seats, hats and horses as you are entertained by one of the funniest story tellers to date."
