Historic and modern buses and coaches from around the UK, including a special display of London Buses commemorating 80 years of London Transport, will be coming to Brooklands.

One of the UK’s largest, longest-running and best-loved bus shows will be held at the London Bus Museum to mark the 40th anniversary of the spring bus and coach gathering.

The event will have the usual mix of heritage bus tours, open-top and Victorian horse bus rides, plus a children’s bus carousel, display of London taxis through the ages and two collectors’ markets.

Up to 200 visiting buses and coaches will be in attendance, with an all-day, frequent service of heritage and modern bus rides operating. Special features this year include the classic repatriates - London buses brought back from overseas - and three significant additions to the museum’s collection will be unveiled.

Being the birthplace of motor racing, Brooklands is also home to a large collection of cars, motorcycles and memorabilia, plus the retired BA Concorde which marks the entrance to the transport-filled site.

Entrance fee includes free unlimited travel on the heritage bus services and access to the whole Brooklands Museum site.

Some special bus excursions and the children’s carousel are subjected to an additional cost.
