Star comedians will take to the mic in Carshalton this month to raise money to fund cancer treatment for a friend and colleague.

Comic and former Carshalton Athletic FC tannoy announcer Gary Hollick is organising the charity gig at the club on Wednesday, September 21, in aid of fellow comedian Caroline Bridgwater, who is trying to raise money for treatment that is not available on the NHS. She responded well to a first round by needs further sessions which could amount to more than £25,000.

Funny men and women performing on the night include Cheam’s king of one liners Tim Vine and the winner of ITV’s Show Me the Funny Patrick Monahan, alongside Antony Dewson, Ria Lina and Jason Simmons.
