Art Walks 23rd June / 28th July / 18th August, Summer 2013 Following a successful pilot project in 2012 artist and passionate walker, Tim Ridley has secured Arts Council England Lottery funding to become artist in resident on Epsom & Ashtead Common during the summer 2013.

The public can join in by taking part for free in three free artist led walks on Epsom and Ashtead Common summer 2013.

The walks take place in the stunning surroundings on this amazing near wilderness of 180 hectares.

Tim describes his fascination about nature, wildlife and conservation stemming from a childhood school trip to the Common during a geography lesson whilst at Kingswood House school in the 70s.

He has since spent his professional career as a photography and most recently completed a BA at Chelsea College of Art and Design.

The walks are open to all who are curious to see this SSSI in a different light. The pace of the walks will suit most abilities although you are recommended to wear suitable footwear and bring waterproof clothing, just in case the weather turns less than summery, and bring some packed lunch.
