Christmas is in the air for Ewell Yule which will infuse the village with music, merriment and mince pies tomorrow.

Hum along with music groups from the area bringing festive cheer and carols to the Ewell Memorial Gardens from 4:15pm until 8pm with an appearance from the mayor at 5pm.

St Clements’ School pupils, Ewell Castle Festival Choir, Epsom Male Voice Choir, Ewell St Mary’s Morris Men, Epsom & Ewell Silver Band and The Castle Chorus will all be involved.

Attractions include a family treasure hunt, which starts in participating shops and finishes at All Things Nice, as well as a grand raffle.

The Famous Green Man BBQ will take place from 4pm to 7pm and a free ‘specs MOT’ will be available at Houghton White Optometrists.

Kids can enjoy Santa’s grotto at Greenfields between 6-8pm, with glasses of wine and mince pies for parents to raise money for The Children’s Trust, Tadworth.

Many local businesses are taking part in this year’s Ewell Village Traders’ Association event and they are grateful to the local businesses and individuals who sponsor and support the festivities.

The event is happening in the village tomorrow, Friday November 28, from 4 to 8pm
