A concert commemorating the centenary of the First World War is being held by a community choir in Walton.
Walton Voices will perform a range of works from well known wartime composers together with poetry from World War I on the night.
The choir, alongside a group of brass musicians, want as many people as possible to attend and even join in at the performance.
Songs to feature at the concert include Gustav Holst’s Turn Back O Man, Charles Villers Stanford’s The Bluebird and Ralph Vaughn William’s Six Choral Songs.
In Flanders Fields by Walton Voices; Walton Methodist Church, Terrace Road, Walton; June 21, concert starts at 7.30pm; £10 adults, £5 for children; Tickets available at the door or in advance at waltonvoices.co.uk.
