Multi plantinum rocker Bryan Adams will rip through his greatest hits and tracks from his new album when he plays Sandown Park next summer.

Following successful Jockey Club Live shows by Boyzone and Kaiser Chiefs earlier this year, the singer will play An Evening at the Races on August 4.

Bryan, who has sold over 65 million records in his 35-year-career, said: “I’m delighted to be back on the road this year. It will give me an opportunity to perform tracks from my latest album, Get Up, as well as some of my earlier classics. It’s going to be a special show, performing outdoors at Sandown Park and I hope my fans can join me.”

Sandown’s general manager Phil White said: “We are delighted to announce Bryan Adams as our first confirmed artist performing at Sandown Park next summer. Racegoers will be able to enjoy a perfect summer’s night out including evening racing followed by live music from international rock star Bryan Adams on August 4.”

Tickets go on sale at 9am on Friday (December 11) at thejockeyclublive.co.uk and cost £45 adults, £22.50 children.
