A Carshalton singer-songwriter will take to the stage in Sutton next month to play the debut album he recorded in one mammoth session at Abbey Road Studios.
Nick Higton, better known as The Aultones, is self-taught in piano and guitar and had released eight home-produced albums since 1994 before his first proper LP was recorded in 10 hours at The Beatles’ old studio.
The result was Fear Without Progression, which was released on Christmas Eve.
The Aultones and Friends is at Back Door at The Secombe from 7.30pm on March 4 and 5. Go to suttontheatres.co.uk
