The big band sound of the 1940s will be brought to life in a concert celebrating the work of Glenn Miller.

With a line-up of saxophones, trumpets, trombones, a rhythm section and top singers, the Nick Ross Orchestra will faithfully recreate the music of the 40s era with numbers including Moonlight Serenade, In the Mood, Little Brown Jug and Tuxedo Junction.

In the year that marks the 70th anniversary of the Blitz the concert will also pay tribute to Glenn Miller whose work instinctively captured the mood of the time as well as the public spirit.
