A source said: “The two houses will basically run like two different series, meaning fans will get twice the fun.

“The idea would be to have a daughter in one house and her mum in the other but not tell either of them.

“It would be a big stunt but producers are determined to make it the best series ever.”

There have been reports for a while that building works had taken place at Elstree Studios in Borehamwood, where the series is filmed, so could a second compound be the reason?

We don’t have to wait long to find out as the launch date has been announced as June 7, with the first eviction just three days later.

Bosses said this series will be “ominous” and “unpredictable” with the housemates “under attack” from dark forces.
