Christopher Biggins was the first contestant to enter the Celebrity Big Brother house during the show’s live launch on Thursday evening.

The Channel 5 show kicked off with Chris walking down the catwalk to cheers from the audience at the London location, with Emma Willis welcoming him to the show.

Chris, 67, has issued a warning to the other 14 contestants who will join him on the show, saying: “I don’t like bullies and I will not sit back and see someone bully someone else. I would not put up with that. Bullies beware.”

The pantomime regular said he would be prepared to do “anything” to win.

Fans of the show were delighted to see the star walk in through the famous front door, screaming their delight.

This summer’s celebrity line-up has been kept under wraps, but many of the names were reportedly confirmed days ahead of the first broadcast.

Speculation mounted earlier in the day as the official Big Brother Instagram account shared a series of very cryptic images.

Following Chris into the house were Loose Women panellist Saira Khan and YouTube sensation Frankie Grande.
