Amy Adams has revealed that Ben Affleck is bringing his own “unique” touch to Batman.

The Oscar-winning star will portray the caped crusader opposite Henry Cavill’s Superman in Zack Snyder’s Man Of Steel sequel, Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice. He is the latest actor to play the superhero, following Christian Bale, Michael Keaton, George Clooney and Val Kilmer.

Amy, who will reprise her role as Lois Lane, said she has been impressed with her co-star.

“He is going to be his own unique thing. He’s got a wonderful quality and a great body of work,” she said.

“I was only in one scene with him, I think I’m allowed to say that. So I didn’t get to see much, but what I saw was fantastic.”

Filming on the comic book sequel finished in December, with the movie scheduled to be released in 2016. The movie also stars Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor and Jason Momoa as Aquaman.

“It should be a lot of fun. It was a lot of fun for me,” Amy recalled.

“We’re not allowed to speak about it, but I just want to tell everybody everything. I’ve spoken about working briefly with Gal as Wonder Woman and Ben as Batman and had a wholly positive experience.

“And teaming up with Zack, Henry and Lawrence Fishburne again is so much fun. I like playing Lois, it’s a real privilege for me. I never really expected it.”

The 40-year-old actress, who stars in Tim Burton’s Big Eyes, added: “I can’t wait to see it. Just the part I’ve seen looks really exciting.”
