Dreams really did come true at Disneyland, when Cinderella star Lily James surprised fans at a screening of her new film.
The former Downton Abbey actress, who stars in Disney’s live-action retelling of the fairytale, gave a group of pint-size princesses, all dressed in versions of Cinderella’s blue gown, a day to remember when she visited the Californian theme park.
The aspiring princesses also got a special visit from Prince Charming, in the form of Lily’s co-star Richard Madden.
Hundreds of fans joined the Cinderella “royal celebration”, where they enjoyed dancing, desserts and a special screening of the film and new short, Frozen Fever.
Cinderella, directed by Kenneth Branagh, also stars Cate Blanchett, Helena Bonham Carter, Stellan Skarsgard, Holliday Grainger and Derek Jacobi.
The film opens in UK cinemas on March 27.
