Jo Brand will be presenting The Great British Bake Off's new spin-off show.
The comedy star will be hosting An Extra Slice, on BBC Two, in which she interviews the week's eliminated contestant, What's On TV reported.
Jo said: "I'm absolutely delighted to have been asked to be part of An Extra Slice.
"As someone who obviously loves cakes, but also keeps a very strict eye on my figure and exercises assiduously to keep healthy, I hope I'm a worthy candidate to represent the Borough Of Baking," she joked.
Jo will be chatting about the night's episode and introducing unseen footage in An Extra Slice, which starts directly after the main show, presented by fellow comediennes Sue Perkins and Mel Giedroyc, has finished on BBC One.
A studio audience will be asked to bring in their own bakes inspired by the week's theme and viewers can share photos of their own creations.
