Taylor Swift will be shaking things up this New Year
Taylor Swift will be shaking it up in New York City's Times Square on New Year's Eve.
US TV broadcaster ABC has announced that Swift is the headliner for New Year's Rockin' Eve, the annual countdown show hosted by Ryan Seacrest.
The show will feature 38 musical performances over five-and-a-half hours on air. No other musical acts have been announced yet.
Taylor's hit Shake It Off is currently in the charts, and she'll be promoting her pop-oriented album 1989.
It will be Seacrest's 10th year hosting the annual celebration that was originated by Dick Clark.
