An innovative twist on the Tube map has been produced, with stations being replaced by apps.

The names of Zone 1 stops are taken by the titles of apps that are deemed useful for each area.

Each app has been carefully chosen for that specific area to help the user when they are in that part of town.

London tech PR agency PHA Media has created the alternative map – or mApp..

Nick Braund, head of technology at PHA, said: “There are so many start-up businesses wanting to offer something new, each looking to find their own niche. Many of them said we’re great for these types of people or in this place which then spurned our idea, which is the best app for different places across London.

“We then did a lot of research looking at what’s available and would be of interest to people either living or visiting London, and compiled the mApp based on that detail.”
