Dub step, reggae, electronic, folk and rock music will be on display as Dreadzone comes to town, writes Andy Bloss.

Electro-dub pioneers Dreadzone formed in 1993 and soon became festival favourites as they opened the Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury in 1994.

Their blend of electro, dub and reggae has proved popular with audiences and they have seven top 60 singles to their name.

The tour, called 20 Years of Dread, marks the anniversary of the band and their first album.

They are also building up to the release of their new studio album Escapades.

The core members include Greg Dread, Leo Williams, MC Spee, vocalist Earl 16 and Chris Compton make up the current Dreadzone line up.

The group are touring the UK in 2013 and will play a variety of festivals in the summer.
