Guard your purses and handkerchiefs, child pickpockets could be lurking anywhere.

The Secombe Theatre has opened its doors to thieves and street urchins as Oliver Twist comes to Sutton.

Following its recent revival in the West End, originally starring Rowan Atkinson and Jodie Prenger, the Sutton Theatre promise to bring the world famous Oliver! to life.

It all begins with orphaned Oliver’s innocent request of: "Please sir, I want some more."

However, this lands him in trouble with the workhouse owner Mr Bumble and sets him on his famous adventure.

Lionel Bart’s musical adapted from the Charles Dickens novel, takes orphaned Oliver from the workhouse to Fagin’s gang.

Along the way he meets colourful characters including the Artful Dodger, Bill Sykes and Nancy.

The performance will provide musical treats such as Consider Yourself, You’ve Got to Pick a Pocket or Two, It’s a Fine Life and Food Glorious Food.

Tickets are selling fast so if you fancy a bit of Oom-Pah-Pah, make sure you pick some up quick.
