Students from Carew Manor School revisit the Battle of Hastings
Pupils dressed in medieval attire to re-enact the Battle of Hastings.
The year 7 pupils at Carew Manor School have covered the great 1066 battle in history classes and visited Battle Abbey on Monday October 22.
Teacher Emmet Murphy said: "The highlight for students was definitely the battle re-enactments.
Teachers in each class dressed up as William the Conqueror, Harold Godwinson, and Harald Hardrada and their respective classes were that person's army."
"Students had made swords and shields and had a fantastic time acting out the Battles of Stamford Bridge and Hastings in Beddington Park."
