Dogs seized after Morden pensioner found dead

Five dogs have been seized by police after a pensioner was found dead last night.
Merton police have begun an investigation and are currently treating the death of the 71-year-old woman as unexplained.
She was found in Rutland Drive, Morden, near Sutton Common Recreation Ground, and the dogs are understood to be owned by the victim's daughter, who lives next door.
A post-mortem examination is due to be held.
