Students at Carshalton High School for Girls take part in Fingerspellathon
Year seven students from Carshalton High School for Girls have been busy learning their "finger spellings".
Girls from the 7EH6 English class were set the challenge of learning a list of 50 commonly misspelt words using the British sign language alphabet.
It is all part of the National Deaf Children's Society's Fingerspellathon.
On Tuesday, October 23, the very first CHSG Fingerspellathon took place in the school library.
The event not only raised awareness of the charity but also helped the pupils improve their spelling and schoolwork too.
