A man has denied murdering father-of-three Damon Weedon and will face trial in November.

Frank Smith, 29, of Cotswold Road, Sutton, appeared at Kingston Crown Court on Friday charged with murdering Mr Weedon in Wallington.

The popular 36-year-old died after being stabbed on the Roundshaw estate, on Friday June 1. Family and friends set up a Facebook account following his death earlier this year.

Angela Marie wrote: "Damon I will always have you close to my heart, you have left a great legacy-three lovely boys. Good night and sleep well and don't you ever worry about anything anymore."

Flowers and cards were left at one of the crime scenes in Mollison Drive.
