A chef inspired shoppers to roll up their sleeves and get baking by showing how to make mince pies on Saturday at the Ashley Centre in Epsom.
David Gillott, chef patron of Four Gables Food Academy, Ashtead, who won the best young entrepreneur title at the Epsom Business Excellence Awards last month, encouraged cooks to come back again for Surrey’s best mince pie competition this Saturday, December 8.
Mr Gillott said: "Baking is a great stress buster, so it’s perfect for the festive season, and it’s also lots of fun."
Father Christmas is also visiting the centre on Saturdays in the run-up to Christmas.
