Firefighters were called to a blaze in south Croydon this morning.
Three fire engines were called to the semi-detached property in Old Farleigh Road at 11.30am.
Half of the first floor was damaged in the fire but nobody was hurt in the incident.
A spokesman for the fire brigade confirmed the fire was under control by 12.05pm.
