Traffic has been disrupted in West Croydon by raw sewage spewing across a road.
Thames Water has dispatched a crew to investigate the cause of the leak, at the junction of London Road and Hathaway Road.
It said it expected the crew to be at the scene by 2.30pm.
A spokeswoman for Thames Water said: "A crew is on its way to London Road in Croydon where we have received reports of sewage flooding the road.
"As soon as we get there, we can investigate what has happened and ensure the road is cleaned up."
