Artistic makeover for Victoria House in North Cheam
8:00am Wednesday 26th December 2012 in News By Sophia Sleigh, Reporter
A building’s artistic makeover was formally unveiled last week as part of the borough’s Christmas build-up.
A two part project, funded by the Outer London Fund (OLF) and the council’s Innovation Fund, has dramatically revamped the front of Victoria House in North Cheam.
The artwork called Branch Lines has been completed by artist duo Sam Skinner and Charles Holden and features tree motifs stretching across the building’s windows and main stairwell.

As for plastering graffiti around North Cheam, does he or anyone else really believe it will inspire business and consumer confidence? "Growth through Graffiti" sounds like something from the Monster Raving Loony Party!

As usual with these public works of art how much did we overpay the artists?
