Patients are impressed with Epsom and St Helier Hospitals’ accident and emergency (A&E) departments.
A survey carried out by the Government’s health watchdog, the Care Quality Commission, found that 95 per cent of patients said the A&E was clean or very clean.
Another 95 per cent did not feel bothered or threatened by other patients and 76 per cent felt they were treated with respect and dignity.
The survey was filled in by 318 patients who used the departments earlier in the year.
