These items of jewellery - an eternity ring and an engagement ring - were part of a haul stolen from a house in St Helier earlier this month and police are appealing for anyone who might have seen them to come forward.

The jewellery was taken when thieves kicked in the front door of a house in Glastonbury Road and disabled the security lights between 7.30am and 11.45pm on Wednesday, December 5.

The haul included the items pictured - a ruby and diamond eternity ring and a custom-made 18ct gold engagement ring which was a family heirloom - as well as a plain gold wedding band engraved on the inside with the victim's name and the date 18/03/1988 engraved on it.
