Two houses in Sutton raided for cannabis
7:00am Friday 28th December 2012 in News By James Pepper
Police have issued a number of warnings following two cannabis raids.
A 37-year-old woman and a 35-year-old man were given cannabis warnings after police raided addresses in Thornton Road and Rushy Meadow Lane on December 4 and 6.
The operations are the latest in a series of raids in the borough as part of a Met-wide offensive against drug-related crime - called Operation Hawk.
Police want to encourage the public to come forward with information about who may be selling or cultivating drugs in their area.
If you see a crime being committed or anyone acting suspiciously dial 999.
If you have any information that you believe could help police, contact Sutton Police station on the non-emergency number 101.
For crime prevention advice contact your local Safer Neighbourhoods Team on www.met.police.uk/sutton
Alternatively, anyone with information can call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111
