Presto Performing Arts to launch children's weekly stage school at Life Centre in Sutton
Aspiring thespians will take to the boards as a new acting class makes its debut next week.
Presto Performing Arts, a weekly stage school, will give children aged between four and seven the chance to start singing and acting and the first sessions take place at the Life Centre in Alcorn Close on Saturday, January 12, between 9.30am and 11am and 11.15am and 12.45pm.
The classes will include drama-based games, catchy songs and dances and aim to stretch children's imaginations and build confidence.
Councillor Jill Whitehead, chairwoman of the environment and neighbourhoods committee at Sutton Council, said: "Letting children explore their creativity from an early age helps them develop skills that could be useful in later life.
We want these sessions to be fun and enjoyable but also help our borough’s children develop a love of acting, singing and the performing arts."
