Signal problems caused delays for commuters this morning.
Problems between Horsham and Dorking meant no trains ran between the two stations from 6.30am until 8am and normal service was not resumed until just before 10am.
Bus replacement services were put in place but there were delays of up to 30 minutes for many commuters using the line which serves Sutton, Epsom and other stations in the area.
