Firefighters attended a blaze in Norbury after two sheds and an out building caught fire this morning.
Crews were called to Strathyre Avenue at 6.50am and managed to prevent the fire spreading to other gardens.
One of the buildings was destroyed in the fire, while the other two suffered about 25 percent damage.
A fire spokesman said: "The occupant whose shed was completely damaged had a coal fire in his house.
"He put the coal outside and thought it was out but it hadn't been fully extinguished."
No-one was hurt in the incident.
