Emergency gas works cause gridlock
Emergency repair work to an underground gas pipe is causing traffic hold ups in Cheam this morning.
One lane is closed at the junction of St Dunstan's Hill and High Street causing tailbacks in High Street and Ewell Road heading towards Sutton this morning while Southern Gas Networks repair the problem.
The issue was reported to Transport for London late last night and it is hoped the repair will be completed by later today.
