Wandsworth Crown Post Office is hoping to move to a new branch with extended opening hours.
The building, currently located in Arndale Walk, Wandsworth, would move to a new modern facility with longer opening hours in the business village Hardwick Way, in Buckhold Road.
There will be a private consultation room to discuss confidential information, as well as two Post & Go terminals.
The old building would be demolished as part of the major development of Southside Shopping Centre, in Garratt Lane.
The Post Office is inviting customers and interested parties to give their comments on the proposals in a six week public consultation.
Andrew Thompson, regional manager, said: "We understand how important Post Office services are to people in Wandsworth and we want to make it easier for customers to do business with us through opening a new open plan branch offering longer opening hours.
"We are confident this new modern Post Office will meet the needs of customers in the area and help us to secure services for the future."
