Diversions after bus breaks down in Windsor Avenue, Sutton
A road was blocked by a broken down bus this morning meaning diversions were in place for over an hour.
A bus on the S3 route suffered a gear box failure in Windsor Avenue near the junction with Gander Green Lane shortly before 9am.
Services were diverted along Gander Green Lane until 10.20am.
Mike Weston, London Buses operations director, said: "London Buses are maintained to a very high standard and incidents like this are rare. We do apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused."
