Despite a groundswell of support Heritage Farm Nurseries will close it's doors for the final time this weekend.
The company, which has a fish and reptile shop as well as a cafe, were told by Surrey County Council that in order to stay at the property they would have to pay a 167 per cent rent increase.
Although negotiations are continuing, it appears they are going to be unsuccessful.
Owner Johnathan Daniels said: "Sadly we are closing this Sunday, but we want to thank everyone for their kind words of support.
"We want people to come and support us one last time this weekend, and while they are here, they can pick themselves up a bargain."
