The Gary Mason Charity is offering free hand drumming workshops.
The charity was launched after the death of the former heavyweight boxing champion, Gary Mason, and continues the work done by his social enterprise Rhythmical Empowerment Group.
Mason died when he was knocked off his bike during a collision with a white van in Sandy Lane South, Wallington, on January 6, 2011.
The charity has received a grant from Sutton Community Fund to offer the workshops which encourage relaxation, well being and empowerment.
There will be refreshments available and people will have an opportunity to chat to others.
Sessions will take place at 1.45 to 2.45pm on a Tuesday at St Paul’s Church Hall, in Roundshaw, and the same time on Wednesdays at the Riverside Centre in Carshalton.
