A robber who subjected a family to a terrifying ordeal has broken the terms of his release from prison and is wanted by police.
Daniel Staples, 27, was sentenced to 96 months in jail for robbing a house in Carshalton in 2008. During the robbery, carried out with two other men, he told a young family he had a gun while his accomplices attacked a woman and held a knife to a man's throat while his four-year-old daughter watched.
Staples was released on licence in June last year but is now wanted having broken the conditions of his release. he was last known to be living in the Beddington area.
Staples is 5ft 10in and of medium build.
