The second phase of the £83m regeneration of a housing estate is underway.
J S Wright has been commissioned by developers Rydon as part of a £600,000 contract to install hot and cold water systems for 61 new houses and apartments Durand Close.
The revamp of the estate is progressing in a number of stages and will result in 474 new homes, 214 of which will be affordable.
Durand Close, which historically had the highest child density in the South East, had 295 outdated flats that were demolished in 2009.
The £600,000 12-month contract, which also includes fitting dry risers as well as rainwater and soil and waste services, is part of the first stage of the Phase 2 redevelopment of the Durand Close Estate for Affinity Sutton.
JS Wright managing director Marcus Aniol said: "We are delighted that our successful completion of the first phase of the regeneration of the Durand Close Estate has led to Rydon awarding us the contract for the first stage of Phase Two."
