Surrey Police host open day to reunite people with stolen goods

Police will hold an open day for people to reclaim stolen goods.

Surrey Police is hoping to reunite stolen property with its rightful owners at two events this month.

The events take place at Caterham Police Station on Saturday, February 16 between 9.30am and 12.30pm and on Tuesday, February 19 between 6pm and 9pm.

The majority of the items are tools or items suspected to be stolen from vehicles.

Detective Constable Paul Sparks, said: "We hope by holding this event that we can reunite some victims of crime with their stolen property and I would urge anyone who has been a victim of theft to attend."
